FastLatch, LLC is committed to protecting online user privacy. In order to ensure your privacy, information FastLatch collects through our web site at www.fastlatch.com (“Site”) is used only in the manner and for the purposes described in this FastLatch Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy.”)

Information Collected from Users

FastLatch collects the email address of Users that email a question or comment to FastLatch or submit a customer review.

FastLatch collects the billing and shipping addresses, including relevant e-mail, phone and credit card numbers and expiration dates of Users who purchase a product from FastLatch through the Site. This includes Users who register to become FastLatch members or enter any FastLatch contests or other promotional features available on the Site.

Cookies

FastLatch is not responsible for the collection, use, or disclosure of information collected through these web sites, and FastLatch expressly disclaims any and all liability related to such collection, use, or disclosure.

Children

The FastLatch Site is not directed towards children under 18 years of age and FastLatch does not knowingly collect any information from children under 18 years of age through the Site.

Security

FastLatch has security measures to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the Information under our control, including credit card information that is submitted to FastLatch When Users place orders or access their account information, the Site uses secure server software (SSL), which encrypts all information Users’ input before it is sent to us. Thus, we have taken steps to protect the Information we collect from you from unauthorized access. Unfortunately, no system is perfect; therefore, FastLatch makes no representations or warranties with regard to the sufficiency of these security measures. Sale or Acquisition

In the event that another company acquires FastLatch or all or part of its assets, we reserve the right to include Information among the assets transferred to the acquiring company.

The personal information you enter through our subscriptions page is used only to provide them you with communications in specialty areas they select.   If as a visitor you register via our website for one of our events (including webinars and events hosted at our offices), we use the personal information you provide solely for purposes of contacting you about the event, and to let you know about future events (if you indicate you would like to have that additional information).   All the information you provide as a visitor is used solely to respond to and process your requests.

Generally, we process personal information provided by visitors through our website on the basis of consent.

The only exception: we may also process personal information on other bases as legally required by the GDPR and applicable laws.

We process the following information when provided voluntarily by our website visitors: name, business title, name of employer, e-mail address (business e-mail address preferred), postal address and/or country, and telephone number (again, business number preferred).  We also process automatically-gathered information as described in our Cookies Notice.

Fastlatch, LLC main administrative offices are based in the USA and that’s where we process personal information collected through our website.  When you provide personal information to us, we request your consent to transfer that personal information to the USA.  The USA does not have an adequacy decision from the European Commission, which means that the Commission has not determined that the laws of the USA provide adequate protection for personal information.  Although the laws of the USA do not provide legal protection that is equivalent to EU data protection laws, we safeguard your personal information by treating it in accordance with this GDPR Privacy Notice.  We take appropriate steps to protect your privacy and implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information in storage. We use secure transmission methods to collect personal data through our website.  We also enter into contracts with our data processors that require them to treat personal information in a manner that is consistent with this Notice.

Retention period for personal information
